Davinci Gives Back: July Charity - Utah Women's Coalition

The Utah Women’s Coalition is a statewide, nonpartisan organization working to improve the lives of Utah women through public policy, advocacy, and education. UWC was founded in 2015 to address the increasing need for thoughtful, research-driven policy on issues impacting Utah women. We seek to foster collaborative partnerships to tackle a broad range of women’s rights issues, and create a space for organizations and advocates to come together to share ideas, pool resources, and develop comprehensive strategies in advancing the status of Utah women through public policy.

UWC has drafted several bills and spearheaded numerous policy projects in furtherance of our mission.  As a direct result of our policy efforts, Utah has risen from an ‘F’ to a ‘C-’ grade in a 2016 state-by-state progress report prepared by the National Partnership for Women and Families, which provided an analysis of laws that help expecting and new parents.  This is a great start, but we have more work to do.  Please join us on Love Utah Give Utah in support of these important policy efforts.
